hello everyone in this fit conscious world we are in today. i'm glad to have this site to talk to folks with similar goals. where would we be without the internet!!!! anyhow, i'm a 46 year old man doing my best to stay healthy also. i started workin my body back in '89 but just going to the gym and doing what magazines showed us "bodybuilders" did and not what us average folks should do. i enrolled in a personal trainer class here in new jersey and got certified and continuing to educate myself on fitness everyday. i am blessed to be ectomorph so my metabolism is really fast and at 46 i weigh a good looking 165 lbs. i have plenty energy and i eat what i want to eat but am mindful when i'm overdoing it. i pretty much get in a workout three times a week but with three little ones that ain't easy and the wife works nights!! i have a home gym and a member of a local gym for variety.
Goals:
i really want to "master" the meditation thing and would like to do yoga since i'm hearing so much good progress from people here. i have plans to be a personal trainer as soon as can figure out a balance with my children. i also have a goal of learning and traing children and being instrumental in getting schools to get children into being "fit" at an earlier age. |
