Just a note for those that spend a lot of time doing Cardio workouts, Isotonic refreshments are very important as they replace your body what you have lost during exercise.
Isotonic means having the same salt concentration as in blood cells.
I have a simple recipe for Isotonic that you can just plonk in your fridge and have after every training session, plus its cheaper than those at the shop.
750ml water
250ml Orange Juice/Squash
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 large pinch of salt |
