About FitNRG.com FitNRG.com is a fitness, health, and weight loss social network that allows you to track your workouts, diet and nutrition, body stats, blog, and connect you with other people who share similar goals and interests. FitNRG members can view each others' profiles, communicate with friends, help motivate others and stay motivated themselves, share photos, write blogs and comments, and describe their interests. You can change your profile information at any time, and can control how other members view and interact with them.
Information Collected by FitNRG.com
FitNRG.com collects user submitted information such as name, email address, and age to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the FitNRG.com service. In using the FitNRG service, you may also submit personal information regarding your fitness, health, and/or weight loss endeavors under the FitNRG fitness tracking services.
FitNRG.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. We also store certain information from your browser using “cookies”.
You post User Content (as defined in our Terms of Use) on the site at your own risk. Although you can set privacy options that limit access to your profile, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you may choose to share your pages and information. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of User Content may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other Users have copied or stored your User Content.
User Profile information including members' pictures, age, and usernames are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the FitNRG.com social networking community. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join FitNRG, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's email address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network. Users may communicate on FitNRG.com with each other through the FitNRG.com private messaging service, without disclosing their email addresses.
If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the site. FitNRG stores this information to send this one-time invitation, to register a friend connection if your invitation is accepted, and to track the success of our referral program.
We may also use a user's email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their setting in the “User Options" page.
FitNRG will not disclose personal information to any third party unless we believe that disclosure is necessary: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by FitNRG.com, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the FitNRG.com Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service. FitNRG reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of FitNRG or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.
Children Under the Age of 13
FitNRG.com does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to or on FitNRG.com.
