| Soy vs. Whey |

| I need to know what if any comparisons are for soy protein and whey protein, as a beginner body builder I would like to do the right thing! |

we've been lied to about soy. i used to drink soy milk like water because it was the newest best calcium/protein craze. i'd post more on the harmful effects of soy, but you can do your own searching. avoid soy!

| As far as I am aware soy protein is definitely inferior to whey. Vegetable protein does not have the same amino acid profile to animal based proteins and is therefore not a great choice for muscle building. |

| I have actually had great success by mixing a 1 to 1 ration of whey and soy protein with milk. |

Whey Protein is the best on the market becaused it is isolate protein which is a fast active protein that hits your muscle fibre faster.
I use PRO-MR which is around 48g Protein per serving, I use it straight after my workout which gets to my muscle faster as it is in liquid form, powder mixed with liquid. |
