i am 43 and live in mn (brrr!) i have 5 kids, 3 stepkids and identical twin granddaughters. i live on a small hobby farm in a fairly rural area and love it. we have horses, dogs and a snobby crabby cat. i like to be active and outdoors, but really get introverted and lazy this time of the year. i hate the windy, drab overcast days of fall and think i should be hibernating lol! i have a huge tendency to procrastinate and am always planning to start a workout 'tomorrow'.......and we all know that tomorrow never comes
Goals:
i would like to lose 8 pounds, but more importantly i would like to lower my body fat (scale currently puts it at 31-32%?) i also need to drink less beer and eat healthier-serious self-control and motivation needed here.
Interests:
fishing, gardening, camping, horseback riding, traveling

I am not sure how to navigate through this website yet-and have never blogged before! lol I am hoping to start out with light walking/jogging (3.5-4.0 mph) daily and then add in weights 2-3x per week. I found a cool treadmill 'wintr' workout on prevention that i would like to work into also. I am not real overweight, but definitely out of shape after 5 kids :( I did not work out today, but plan to tomorrow (Thursday) You want to start then too? And we can email or blog to each other when we have completed each day-make it seem supportive or competitive...or whatever will work to motivate and inspire??

I think that would be great! So how do you want to start, I need a little jogging challenge, better my time or amt. of time jogging. I usually jog a 12min. mile or lightly jog/walk for 20 mins. What do you think?
