hi! i think its time to change my description about my self. i am a paramedic/ firefighter in northern upper michigan, i have been over weight for,,, well all my life. i was 294.6 lbs. i started weight watchers, this past february 2008, and currently i am 220.4 lbs. my goal is to be 195 lbs. only 25.4 lbs. to go.................. i have been working out a lot and i ran a 5k, which i finished with a time of 32:12. i joined this site and it has been nothing but awsome, the help the friends, by far this is the best site i have joined in a long time.

Goals:
currently my goal is to be 195 pounds, and im only 25.4 pounds away from doing that, and i would like to run a 10k next year..............

Interests:
i love to workout, watch movies, and work, work, work and work, i like to fish, ride bikes, leisure boat, soccer, golf

Hey Cowboyup,

I have just joined this sight and read your email. I live in England in a small town called Fleetwood. I just thought I would send you this as a bit of encouragement as I too am doing the Weight Watchers Diet. All my life I have been very sporty and active, but a few years ago, things started to slip and my weight ballooned up to about 280lbs!! When it should be around 140!!. So I started to diet just before xmass 2007 - lost a stone but after xmass felt like I needed some additional help, seems as I had so much weight to lose. So I joined my local WW group and since January 2008 have lost a total of: 76 1/2 lbs!

I just recently came back off holiday from Egypt and found that I have lost another 5lbs, which was great as I did not want to put on any more weight nor lose my fitness just because I was on holiday, so I made sure I was focused and went to the Gym every other day and ate moderately with a few treats (as I was on holiday).

So I am very focused on losing the rest of my weight and hope to be at my goal by March 2009 if not sooner. I like the WW diet as it fits in with my lifestyle and as I have proven, you can still go on holiday and lose weight if you are focused enough.

My WW group also gave me an Official WW Certificate stating that I had lost 50lbs, which was a great incentive to carry on as I believe they give certs for weight losses of: 75 + 100 + 125 lbs, So I have a few more certs to clock up yet before I get to my goal.


Before this turns into a War & Piece Novel,I'll sign off here for now.
