Getting Started
Aug 19, 2008

A little about myself... I've been active ever since I was little and always involved in multiple sports. I've been in pretty good shape most of my life, just never had the flat stomach and toned abs!

I'm about to graduate college in December and have found that in the last few years I've let myslef gain a few.  And of course drinking never helped the situation either!

Ok so my wieght has always fluctuated between 135 and 145.  And right now I am on the heavy end....yup right at 145.  In the past I've done little changes in my diet and worked out to get back down to my smaller size. However today I have decided not only do I want to get back to my smaller size, I want to lose all the extra fat my body has just been comfortable with.  I gain most of my weight on my stomach and you can usually tell in my face when i've put on a few pounds.  My legs, butt, and arms have (luckily) always been pretty small and toned. So with that said I want to build up my muscle in those areas, lose the fat on my belly and tone up my abs.

My goal is to eat and live healthier, making a lifestyle change, and in the process, lose 25 lbs and build muscle. Eventually I want to run a half marathon and maybe do a sprint triathalon!?

Anyone have any pointers just shoot me a message!

your insights as to issues is wonderful and direct. The idea that you are comfortable with your lbs is now identified and when you become uncomfortable with them they will go. With 25 to lose I suggest a two proned attack Daily walking for two 15 -20 intervals or you gals seem to like the various workout videos Then the alcohol .... I can tell you I have never seen anything good result from it. You are such a beautiful young gal perhaps let it go. Health reasons only
