Hi there,
So this is my first day on here i`m trting a 12 week marathon training programme on Monday for a charity run i`m doing on the 29th March 2008, i will be running from the Exhibition Centre in Aberdeen to Boddam which is approximately 26.5 miles. I only decided to do this 2 months ago and I will be raising money for Breast cancer research and Sjogrens Syndrome. A marathonis on my list of thingss to do before i`m 30 and time is ticking past far too quick so i decided next year is the year to do it, hopefully this wil be the first of many. I lost my mother to breast cancer 3 years ago and my fiances friend has Sjogrens syndrome so I really want to do this for these two charities, So if anyone has any tips for me they would be very much appreciated, I am currently running for 5-6 miles at a time so i need all the help i can get. My run in March it is all being organised by myself and my wonderful fiance Rod,who is helping me with sponsorship and is also full of encouragement. you can click on my link to my charity page www.bebo.com/charityrun |
