Just starting out, AGAIN!!
Mar 27, 2008

Well, here I am again, promising myself am gonna stick it out good n proper this time for more than just a day or 2!!

My daughter has just turned 3 n my son is 18 months.  I'd put on a lot of weight between the 2 pregnancies.  When my son was around 6 months, I hit the gym seriously n ate very 'clean' bought the BFFM programme, n done really well got myself down to 18% body fat n was the leanest I'd ever been.

A little under 4 months ago, we emigrated to Australia from Glasgow, Scotland.  On the lead up to leaving Glasgow, the routine kinda went out the window, n continued once we arrived here.  Been pigging out on junk n sweets n chocolate n now, although not massive, feel very 'wobbily' and have no intention of going out to buy a bigger size in clothes!!

Have been trying on and off the last coupla months to get back to it.  But cannot afford to join a gym this time round, so using the garage as a makeshift gym, n been going out running.  The running just isn't happening for me tho, I find it too much of a chore and because of the kiddiewinks, am really limited to going out really early in the morning before hubbie goes to work.  I hav found my solution in a double buggy tho!!  Bought a wee cheepy on e-bay this week done a coupla power walks just over an hour (bout 4 miles) n it's very hilly where I live so it's a pretty good workout!!  Also means I'm not time limited so can fit it in any time.

Have been eating much better this week too, making sure I eat every 2 - 3 hours as it stops any cravings n also having a coupla fruit smoothies with some protein powder taking horley's "ripped' anyone use this and rate it?  I got it cause it contains a fat burner too, save me buying a seperate one.

Anyway, writing this just for me really as i'm committing myself to a 12 week thing to get back into my 'skinny' jeans by the time my mum n sister come over to visit!!

Take care, thanx for reading!!

Mandy

Hi! Good to see you've committed to a more healthier lifestyle. We have a 7month baby, and know how tough things get with little ones around. =) Good luck with your goals.
