Day 1
May 16, 2008

Hello All,

And no, I will not be numbering my days! Just getting myself pumped up for day #1! I went to the gym this morning and started with lifting legs. I am planing on lifting to build muscle and than really tone it. I think I will follow Bill Phillips workout plan. (I have been going for the last week just lifting light/high reps just to get myself back into the swing of things). Has any female followed the Body for Life for Women? How is this? Is it much different than Bill's plan?

I just had baby #4 17 weeks ago so I have been taking my time getting back into the gym. I have been walking and dong the eliptical at home and abs.

I feel good! I decided to incorporate a protein shake into my eating plan and as far as supplements I am debating on creatine and an energy booster. Any thoughts anyone?

I did the body for life program about 8 years ago and used Myoplex lite, betagen, and an energy supplement (can't remember what it was though). Any thoughts on using the same things this time? What about an energy supplement? I know I will need it....

Never written blog before...
May 15, 2008

I figured why not start a blog. My work is doing "The Biggest Loser" and I just had baby #4. I am almost to my weight before prego but that was heavy so I am ready to start loosing and getting into better shape!

Anyone else doing a "Biggest Loser" through work? I have heard of few different companies doing this and having good results. Along with weight loss there is good team building and friendships built.

Well we officially start tomorrow- I am going to go home and drink a few beers tonight :)

Don't know how this blog thing will go but I am hoping to keep it light hearted and motivational.

Any words of wisedom from anyone?

A little info about me- I am 5'4"- weighted in at 167lb (I think the scale is a little off -on the heavy side but we are all using this scale so it doesn't really matter). Body Fat was 36.6 %. BMI 28.7%

I belong to 24 hr fitness express and will be hitting the gym tonight! Wearing sweats and loose t-shirt- one goal is to get into a tight fitting strecthy shirt -like the "fit girls" wear! YEAH :)

I have to think up some serious goals to work towards. Will do this tonight and post later. What are other people's goals? Anyone like to share? I am thinking of following body of life instruction....
