a new year means another try!

ok so i've been trying to lose weight for some time now and has never been easy for me.  I always start out good and i do lose some weight but after a while i give up because i'm STARVING and i gain it all back.  But I'm willing to try it again.  One day it'll just work for me.  I can't wait!!

What better way to start the new year than with a new and refreshed view of losing weight and getting in shape. Congrats and good luck!

Hi,

All you need is to be committed to your goal. I've started Dec'2006 and lost about 60 pounds.

The technique is to eat 6 meals a day:


Breakfast
Snack (1-fruit)
Lunch Salads
Snack (1-fruit)
Dinner
Snack (1-fruit)
You can drink orange juice but diluted like 50% orange and 50% water.

Food to eat: anything with wheat, oats, grains. Fruits and vegetables, Rice milk rather than 0 percent fat free.

always use a measuring cup to really measure your food intake and calorie count (believe me it's hard in the first four months but keep at it). do a food diary so you know what your are eating.

Food to avoid: high fructose corn syrup, aspartame and other additives in some food. (read the labels of the food you take).

Last but not the least is exercise. If you keep constant regiment of exercise you would loose 2-3 pounds a week.

That should keep you started.

Today is my day off from work - DD and I walked for 2 hours along the bike trail near our house. We used to ride, skate, or walk along the trail all the time when we lived in this area before....
