Damn me for losing my first blog entry after I typed for 10 minutes...
Anyway today was my first time really posting or keeping track of my caloric intake seriously. Hopefully this will work well for Steph and I in meeting our goals whatever they may be. My goals always seem to fluctuate but I will try to list them out. They say that talking about your goals helps you to achieve them. Lets find out if they are right.
1. Lose 10 Pounds: I've already lost 10 but that was when I didn't know how much weight I had gained because the scale was lying to me. I should have realized that not ALL my pants had shrunk!! I am 168 today. Hoping to get to 158.
2. Exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes a more. I would say 4 days a week but I will say 3 and if I do 4 then that will be a bonus.
3. Walk 10,000 steps per day, Monday thru Friday. This is hard. I've been wearing my pedometer like a religion for weeks now and have yet to achieve 10,000 steps. Got close but never made it, not even on the day I ran my 5k.
4. Drink Water. I didn't put an amount because drinking any amount is an improvement over nothing.
5. I would love to improve my 5K time to under 35 minutes. I am at 36 minutes on a good day. 38 minutes on a blah day. This goal may change simply because I has so little time to devote to it but if I at least try it may keep me running and motivated.
Thats all. Too many goals are a bad thing. I hope I can so what I've already stated! Good luck to me and Steph!! |

| welcome to the site. good luck with your goals. putting them out there is a great start. when you write them down (or in this case type them...lol) they are visible and there as a reminder instead of just floating in the mind as a thought. |
