Mass Builder Day 4

Originally was supposed to choose between deadlifts and squats for as my primary exercise for the next five days, but pulled a quad playing softball on Friday night. Can barely walk. not much chance of doing any lower body for a week or two at least. A little bummed but it might not be such a bad thing. I get to focus on my upper body, especially on chest.


Wish every day could be like today. The workout was tough but came off without a hitch. Nothing fancy about todays workout, all BP and flyes, the 20 sec rest between sets kinda jacks your heart-rate a bit, but all in all was nice to spend some quality time down in the pit.

4 Week Mass Builder - Day 3

Off Day.....Needed this one bad. It was a tough first two days. The low calorie, low carb diet is making it a little harder than I thought it would. I have an extreme need to feed. Will have to wait for Day 8 for that though. It will be interesting to see how the body reacts to going from what seems like a no food diet, to a see-food diet, and what kind of sling shot effect it might have.

4 Week Mass Builder - Day 2

 Rough morning...no motivation. Wished I had written down the plate of that bus that hit me.  Much better after getting to the gym though.  Like the added sets for chest, back, and legs. Still trying to get used to the increased intensity on the cardio, and functioning with a heart rate this high. Thankfully this is the last day for a while on the circuit training. Am looking forward to more lifting and less running.

4 Week Mass Builder Day - 1

Glad I took the 1.5 week break to start this routine. Have never been hit that hard and that fast in my life. Maintained a heart-rate of 190+ for almost an hour. Have never been a fan of circuit training, but with this routine, I just didn't have time to be tired. Have more of the same in AM, I hope I am as excited about this tomorrow evening.
